Other delegates included the Aleppo MP Maarouf al-Dawalibi (People's Party and ex-Prime Minister), the Homs MP Adnan al-Atasi (People's Party and ex-Justice Minister), the Damascus MP Salah al-Bitar (Baath Party), the Hama MP Akram al-Hawrani (Baath Party), the Zabadani MP Faisal al-Asali (Social Cooperative Party), and the Speaker of Parliament, Nazem al-Qudsi (People's Party).
