First from left in the front row is the student Said al-Ghazzi, future prime minister of Syria. In the middle row, second from right is future Damascus MP Fakhri al-Barudi. Standing in the back row (fourth) is future foreign minister Fayez al-Khury, followed by Damascus chief, Nasib al-Bakri.
